Mr. Okala Jonathan

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Avilia Healthcare Ltd.

Mr. Okala Jonathan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Avilia Healthcare Ltd., a distinguished leader with over 20 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Known for his integrity, kindness, and God-fearing nature, Mr. Okala has built a reputation as a trustworthy professional dedicated to ethical business practices and exceptional service delivery.

Professional Experience

Mr. Okala began his career in the health insurance sector with Wise Health Services Ltd, where he developed foundational expertise in healthcare management. His journey continued at Clearline International Ltd, where he served as Senior Marketing Executive, leveraging his strategic acumen to drive growth and expansion. He then moved to Green Field Health Management Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence as a Deputy Manager, Marketing.

Furthering his career, Mr. Okala took on the role at Precious Healthcare Ltd, where his outstanding performance saw him rise from Assistant Manager, Marketing, to the role of Head, Business Development from where he moved to Avilia Healthcare Ltd.

His professional path also included a brief tenure as Regional Head, North at GNI Healthcare Ltd., where he was instrumental in leading regional operations and implementing successful marketing strategies.

Mr. Okala holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Asman Don Bosco University in India and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from Kogi State Polytechnic, Nigeria. Dr Dupe Epokhai

Director of Medical Services

She graduated from Imo State University teaching hospital with a bachelor’s in medicine and surgery before proceeding to the Federal Medical Centre Owo to complete her training. Since then, she has worked extensively in various renowned medical facilities in various parts of the country and has worked her way up the ranks to attain her present position in the healthcare industry. Before now she has worked as a regional medical manager (East) for Health partners HMO and during this time has received various certifications and training from the Institute of health and Finance management on provider management, leadership and case care. She is also certified in other aspects of healthcare, safety and environment and has also worked in her present role at other establishments.

Eddy Jessie

Chief Financial Officer

She possesses a BSC and MSC in Accounting and Finance from Osun State University and Bingham University respectively. She is seasoned professional Accountant, a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She has over 15 years cognate experience in the area of Internal Control, Audit and compliance, budgeting, Finance and administration, financial reporting, tax management etc.
